Jazz singer/pianist/composer Carolyn Graye has worked in the Pacific Northwest since 1980.  She has appeared at Jazz Alley, Earshot Art of Jazz Series, ACT theatre, Bumbershoot, and Bellevue Jazz Festival.  In 1997-1998, she lived in Europe (Prague) and has been sponsored by the U.S. State Department for concerts and workshops in La Paz, Bolivia and the Balkans.  She has released three critically-acclaimed recordings and has received grants from the Jack Straw Foundation, Montana Artists Refuge, and Artist Trust.  She continues to perform regularly and teaches jazz singing and piano.
